now… apart from my marbles 8•P … about 2 years ago, I put a cell phone down somewhere in my apt… and it's never been seen again. oh… and currently I put a book down somewhere… and can't find it among the other random stacks… help?

i once lost a $20 bill in me room. and i later found a $50 bill in corner garbage a few blocks from me house. i loved that day xD

Cat, look for your book in your kitchen cabinet by the dishes or cups. I tend to leave mine there. As for the 2 year missing cellphone...the people who live in the couch took it.

Mine tend to be my keys, and they always are found in the refridgerator. My shoes are frequently missing too, at that point, I do alot of backtracking. I have misplaced some journals, which I go through panic moments about then obsess and clean all night in hopes of finding them...that my biggie that is still missing.

Andrew, I take it that you mean a clothes iron, I can't think of a better use for one. :•P

Akashastrega, you need to have your place fumigated for abscondo-gnomes. They pick things up and then put them in places where you are most unlikely to find them.

My sister's place is infested with abscondo-gnomes, really means one at that, there are at least four sets of her keys, a cell phone of mine that she borrowed, and an old boyfriend of hers that has never been found.

when i lose things, other than the aforementioned marbles ( wayyyy long gone) i play the virtual rewind button. where was i last, what did i do there, what led me there, etc....
when that doesnt work, i methodically search room by room, and divide each room into sections...and those places 'it' couldn't possibly be? i check those places first..found a cell in a shoe, a remote behind the stove, etc....

The book I'm hoping to find in the next round of cleanup… the cell phone… i've quartered the house… the abscondo-gnomes must have got it 8•P

(P.S. I declare myself to be innocent of stealing that heart… he gave it to me FREE AND CLEAR!)

I have a few mysteries i'd like solved... Whenever I put socks in the washing machine, they go in pairs and come out single... i'm sure we have the sock muncher living in there, just havent caught him yet.. also lost a keyring which had the house, car, my parents house keys.. and a good camera put them down on the table and have never been found even after tearing the house apart looking for them...

Hello...my eyeglasses that are perched on my head, like a headband...I spend SOOOOO much time looking for them, and inevitably someone says "doofus, they are ON your head!!"

i've actually been late to work because i was frantically searching for the keys i already had in my pocket

one day for school i had this project due and i was so paranoid cause i waited for last min to do it (typical of me) so. i picked up the poster and ran around the house like the stupid me that i was. holding the poster i was lookin for >_>
