Port Canaveral Lightning Strike by Piner
As some of you know, I enjoy taking pictures of lightning. This is one I caught with my camera a while ago when I was on Cocoa Beach. It shows one of the structures (lower left hand corner) at Port Canaveral, Fla as it is struck by a lightning bolt. There is plenty of room for your icons.
Piner-1146793488.jpg

The Great Escape (Reworked) by Piner
This is a rework of Eggray's image "The Great Escape". He asked for a blue sky but I felt it would be too boring with a bare sky so I added the clouds (thanks to sxc.hu) to give it some much needed depth & balance.

Elbow Falls by d_spin_9
this ones just for piner:P Elbow Falls is like 30 minutes outside of Calgary, and i really took the picture a while ago, i just came across it and thought i'd share it. i think i took alot that day of stuff like this, but i cant say i remember learning anything. the water is probably its colour because of rock flour in the water because it is fed by glaciers, which pretty much make rocks into rock flour :P
d_spin_9-1086753640.jpg
Electrical Fixation by mayne
Thanks go to Piner for his great lightning photos. The enormous energy of lightning breaks nitrogen molecules and enables their atoms to combine with oxygen in the air forming nitrogen oxides. These dissolve in rain, forming nitrates, that are carried to the earth and feed the plants. Photoshop manipulation;-)
mayne-1098747507.jpg
Prickly Caterpillar (For Macs) by Piner
Taken in my back yard, December 29, 2005. Really good detail of the caterpillar when viewed full size.
Piner-1135996377.jpg
Crazy Mountains by Piner
Yes, there is a range of mountains called Crazy Mountains, in Montana, that are part of the Rockies. I didn't know this until after I had taken the picture and checked later online when we stopped for the night. This Florida boy was amazed that they were still covered in snow in mid-May.

All's Quiet (corrected by Piner) by dreamer100
In Piner's reworking, he got rid of telephone pole and wires. and gave it a sepia tone. All this from a pretty paltry starting shot. It's been a tutorial for me and now I am jazzed about getting some new software if I can get close to these end results and learn to use my computer like I use the frames on my walls. Original image here

Take a Giant Step by Piner
Taken as the ship was going through the Panama canal. Remnants of the original effort by the French, if I remember correctly. I edited out a few man-made objects like the buoys that were placed just off the shore.

Durdle Door (Reworked) by Piner
Thanks to Homtail for letting me rework their image Durdle Door . All the people and boats in the original took away from the beauty of the scene. I also straightened the horizon and darkened the white point a tiny bit.

Halloween Nightmares by J_272004
As we don't have autumn here in the land downunder right now.. thought I'd create an image for Halloween... Enjoy (cobwebs are an apophysis flame, the spider is the Caedes Logo by =Piner, Skeleton face from stock.xchng, Poem by my imagination.. =D ......... As dark clouds envelope the night.. On this Halloween Eve.. A full moon shines so bright.. Your imagine makes you believe... As wolves howl, and bats screech.. Shivers up and down my spine.. Spiders scatter, a boney hand does reach.. A scream fills the air, I realise its mine.. A noise behind makes me turn around.. Two shining eyes stare back at me.. goosebumps on my arms abound.. The eyes come closer I'm about to scream, then I realise its only Toby.... =D

One Lonely Caedesian night... by madmaven
as I stood at the edge of the stair...

the darkness was dulling the light,

so I stopped for awhile, just to stare

the cobwebs of mind cleared away

and the red moon came into clear sight

and the spider it covered the day

and emcompassed me into the night.

all stock photos and the poem, my own, except the spider, which is credited { thank you} to Piner.

{ remake: I am new at this...and as I looked, it bugged me...so I changed a few things....}

In a galaxy, far, far away....again. Made it a bit more visually appealling and fixed a major flaw that appeared due to me accidentally flattening the image the wrong way. "Doh!" Caedes-Thanks for pointing that out, or I would have never looked at the fullsize file. :c)

The Rocket Thrower by Piner
Your next stop in NYC is in Queens. This massive 43-foot high bronze sculpture was designed by Donald De Lue (1897–1988) and it was installed in Flushing Meadows Corona Park for the New York World’s Fair of 1964-65. This sculpture is in keeping with one of the central themes of that fair - space exploration, the figure hurling a rocket heavenward with his right hand, and reaching for a constellation of gilded stars with his left.
Piner-1284336037.jpg
Super-String Theory by Piner
Something for all you quantum scientists out there. A non-traditional fractal, done with FraxFlame.

Caedes Carnage by CanoeGuru
I finally got around to putting an idea into an image! Been feeling creativly stagnant lately, so I just decided to go for it. I was looking to add another image featuring Chinese Characters to my Respect and Wisdom images. Piner suggested quite a while back that I do one representing "Caedes", and here it finally is! Thanks, Piner for the suggestion and for the great template to work with! Hope you all enjoy!

Powder by foofoo
My appreciation goes to Tom- " Piner"who did an excellent job of cleaning this photo up to par. I have resubmitted this because this is an animal few people will have the experience of seeing. This is a rare white alligator captured off the coast of Hilton Head Island .This one is only about 2 feet long..It now resides at Riverbanks Zoo. Often confused with an albino, this one has brown eyes and is not sensitive to sunlight. His coloring though does indeed make him more prone to predators .With Piners help this is now a photo to behold. Thanks Piner :)

Abyss by fierywonder
Piner has brought it to my attention that I haven't posted in a while, so this one will be for him. :) All done in PS7, took me about 4 1/2 hours to finish. Also, the face inside kind of reminded me of the movie, hence the name. But interpret it however you want. :)

Red Faction by Samatar
I used the Caedes spider provided by Piner. I will probably make some other colors and while doing so will try to refine some of the glass bits, especially the writing. It didn't look that blobby until I set it as my background.

More images and prints available in my Deviant art and Redbubble galleries.
