Since we are a wallpaper site, I am curious as to what each member thinks makes a good wallpaper. A contest will settle the issue.

Try to keep in mind, when suggesting a topic:
i) Open to all genres of art. Not just photography.
ii) Add a short description (one or two lines is sufficient) , so 'we' know what the artistic aim/intention of the subject matter is.

I think "Tools of the Trade" would be bring a good variety in :) Not a huge fan of "mirrors", since we just did windows, and they seem similar to me... :-\

I'd like Time if we could have something besides of pictures of clocks and watches. But I'm not all that hopeful.

I like Time too and I'm sure we'll see more than clocks and watches if this theme wins the vote.

Time is a relative concept. According to Wikipedia, "time is what clocks measure". So, as Pat stated, I expect we'll see lots of clocks on that one. Of course, someone may throw in a TIME magazine perhaps. lol Considering that the world is 'new' at every moment, I expect any photo of anything will fit the theme.

Well, I do expect we'd see some clocks and watches and often those can be very interesting and creative images, but I would also hope we might see others that portray 'time' and its' effects, whether on people, our surroundings etc. or, perhaps there's a song, quote, poem etc. that speaks of 'time' and that might make an interesting portrayal as well...knowing how creative some of our artists are, there are likely other abstract ways to depict this theme too...anyhow, I'm looking forward to seeing what we can come up with if it wins the vote.
