The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Holes sounds interesting. Not many things with 8 legs I expect, unless it's two creatures with four legs or four creatures with two legs, a spider, or.......a buffet or board room table? Someone's itinerary? What has 8 legs and flies?................

You could post an image of nothing and that would qualify for a hole:):) I go for architecture because we have a lot of that here:):):)

It is still not too late for insects, just thought I’d throw that out there.

Although insects are a topic close to my own heart, it is, I am afraid, too late. The topics for competitions tend to be ones suggested within the first day of voting, and with the exception of one or possibly 2 contests, they are always in the first 4 topics suggested.

I wonder if perhaps some do not realize that votes may be changed.
Just because one voted early with fewer choices we are still able to re-vote if one we favour more comes along.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I like the idea of Architecture - but I wonder if it's too vague. Could we focus upon something specific?

Are we thinking of buildings? If so, modern or antiquated?

Architecture could also imply how natural things are put together - a shell or a branch of a tree.

Fifth Beatle has recently submitted a photo of a terrible paint job on a wall, the painters neglecting to cover the glass windows before they sprayed the brick wall. It's a classic blunder project and the photo aptly illustrates it. I was thinking that a contest of blunder documentation would be a lot of fun to view, a lot like the last photo in the old Life Magazines I used to see when I was a kid. Upon the arrival of each issue, we would practice self-control in not immediately going to the end of the mag to find an image like this one.

Actually, I entered the theme suggestion and wrote this post before looking close at the previous suggestions. "Faux Pas" (the correct spelling--I looked it up) is very similar to this one.
