I am not quite sure what 'As Is' is (?) At first I thought unedited but that would apply just to photography and nothing else. Could the subject be elaborated on please :)

Signs of Spring sounds nice except all around me are signs of Autumn :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

"Can you feel it?"

Post an image that will instantly inspire, convey etc a feeling. Sad, happy, etc. but without the overly obvious such as the expression on a person's face.

Case in point, rainbows and bubbles (exaggerating a bit here) could convey "happy".

With a little creativity, this could level the playing field for all genres.

I like "Can you feel it?" It sounds like a creative challenge. I'm up for that.

I like sunbeams for the dramatic effect. They really fascinate me and it is an added plus with the landscape that goes with them.

Life's moments are sweet. I just want to capture all that I can of them.

I'm not sure but I think Textures might be a little more universal, in terms of photography vs. digital art. I've seen plenty of fractals that were loaded with texture but few that evoke a specific feeling. Just a thought.

If you've ever wanted to make a difference but found it hard to believe that one person could... check out the Kiva Team Caedes discussion thread and discover that anything is possible.

Valid point, Nik, but since I'm almost certain Textures was a previous theme (as well as very vague) I thought I'd introduce an alternative.

As an afterthought... I agree about the commonality of textures in fractals. But then, this is a challenge. ;-)

Might I offer up this image from our very own Nathan Smith as an example of fractal/CGI imagery that evokes an emotion:

"Blessing"

Peaceful, serenity.. joyous ... come readily to my mind.

Perhaps, colour/gradient choices might play a larger role/factor where our fractologists are concerned?

(In conjunction with the design elements, of course.)

Just some inspirational and creative food for thought.
