icedancer: Whoa, so beautiful
Flmngseabass: Congratulations Lyn on this 1st place win!! This is well deserved. What a vie-hard to compete with this:):) Way to go!!
tigger3: Nicely done Lyn, I like the mtn, and how they barely show themselves and the layered look. tigs=^..^=

tigger3: I thought I saw him riding by on horseback on the horizon. Ted, this is very, very good. tigs=^..^=
Jaxx74: My gosh! Belly buttons were 'in' in the seventies too! She (they) look like happy ghosts, anyway.
Nikoneer: Well... yeah... sorta... I've seen "The Searchers" several times (recognize Wayne's rifle scabbard?), one of Wayne's best, shot in Monument Valley (same place; different movie). This view reminds me of an historic log homestead I came across in Montana, including the blue mountains on the horizon and loads of these yellow bushes filling the yard. Having submitted it to Caedes back in 2008 I'd provide a link it except practically no one left a comment so I tossed it. This perspective, looking out of the house and down the steps/ramp to the other buildings is nice, the structure giving an elemental frame to the composition. ///==///==/// Actually, I went online and found someone else's photo of that Montana homestead I mentioned, the Parker Homestead, built in 1901 in the Jefferson River valley west of Three Forks, MT.

quickshot: I'm not sure what the contest is, but this shot is spectacular. Leafless trees, a full moon and wonderful post photo work. Spooky and very artistic.
corngrowth: Think you had a sleepless night, Raj, ☺ ☺ ☺ .
S+F instantly! Thanks for that, my friend!
icedancer: OK, I'm ready to jump through, lol Super capture and those reflections are amazing
questjester: It is a remarkable thing to view the world with the imaginative, wonder-filled eyes of a child. To see a portal to another place, instead of just a puddle of water.
And it is the soul of an artist to then capture that special vision in order to share it with others.
Very well done, Connie!
jerseygurl: Congratulations John on taking 5th place in the contest!!!!!!!!!
corngrowth: John, congratulations for your 5th place in the 'From My Doorstep' contest.
questjester: Congratulations on the contest! :)
Lightpainter: Very nice application of your rendering technique. I have been trying to understand the math behind it. So far, no luck. It certainly makes interesting images.
