I thought this a good post for a Sunday. The church is located in Keokuk, Iowa and here is some information.
Note-I am not seeking contributions for this church, merely providing information.

Good color depth and detail. Got the whole thing in the shot and the height of the spire is augmented by the vertical frame.

A very good image. Enjoyed it and the link to the site. I have mixed feelings about saving the building if there isn't enough local support to put on the new roof. But if enough people want to, more power to them.

Well I'll come hold the ladder if you want to climb up and do the repairs to the roof. Just try not to drop anything heavy while you're up there. A beautiful looking old church, Tick. Nice post work in your photo.

A few years ago a right wing nut burst into Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church killing a few people . he didn't figure on a bunch of so called wimpy liberals to storm him and bring him to the ground. he is spending a long time in prison now. I hope they get the funds to do the upkeep on this lovely old church.
