When you go to a Super Bowl Party, enjoy yourself to the limit, kick the door in when you return home and proclaim "Honey, I'm Home!"; you should make sure you are at the right house.
Tick - Be it ever so humble... . This is a fine looking home, likely for one of the wealthier citizens of Centerville. Every house should have a four-tiered fountain in a raised garden at their entry! Good work with this capture. Thad
You got some nice reflections in the puddles in the driveway. Bad weather can be good some times! That's a great looking house. I bet my trailer would fit in their closet! LOL. Good post, Tick!
Hi, TicK....I noticed that you're signing your shots now. Fortunately I have a free download called "Signature Erase" that somehow detects which pixels have been covered by the signature. One click and I'm able to sell your shots at the swap meet. This one should fetch well of my usual asking price of a quarter.
Excellent shot of this mansion. It sure looks cold there. I like the slightly off center angle that you took. I probably already mentioned ShiftN, but it bears repeating. It somehow figures out up from down and would take that left leaning light pole on the right and make it straight. It's a free download.
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
A very appealing dose of architecture and it's very well rendered considering there was no strong light and shadow to emphasize shapes. At the risk of sounding like the princess and the pea, the building seems to be leaning a tad to the left. I love the balcony window, but it must take a while to get a broken side pane replaced.
You should have staggered a few steps to the right before pressing the shutter button, The lean to the left is understandable given your post-game condition. A good capture of this lovely old house. Nice composition of the scene.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Your funny Tick, now that is a gorgeous home and I see they have the galvanized steel roofing like we have. Your image was beautifully taken. So did your team win, I don't do Super Bowl Parties.
