This is a typical scene in my part of the world. There will be many animals come into view if one has the patience to wait and watch. One might see deer, turkey, fox, coyote, raccoon, rabbit, quail, pheasant or bobcat to mention a few. The deer stand on the hill gives the hunter a distinct advantage.

Not all game shot by hunters is found. This time of the year the Eagles serve as the scavengers since the Turkey Buzzards have migrated. I experimented with this shot. The Eagle is a separate photo I took. I made a brush of the Eagle and inserted it into this scene. I would like your opinion as to the outcome. I will post the Eagle photo at a later date. Thank you

Edit: Sorry about deleting the first one but Count B. had some good suggestions. I hope this looks better.

I have not seen any other before, perhaps I was busy...
Nice one, exactly like the ones I am shooting these days here.
Well, perhaps without any big birds though ...

What a nice shot, just in time. It's very difficult to shoot birds, I know that.

The eagle looks like part of the scene Tick. I think you have used the right size for the eagle while transferring it. The scene looks good. I can imagine a rabbit darting across.

I would have never thought you placed the Eagle there, looks totally natural in the landscape. Well done.

For what it's worth, TicK, I think the shot is seamless. When you say, "I made a brush of the Eagle" what does that mean? Is that PhotoShopese? I use PhotoFiltre but am still leaning new things about some of the commands.

Very good work combining the two images, Tick. Or should I say "good brushwork"? A nicely composed background scene even without the eagle. I don't know if you've tried this, maybe add a little motion blur to the eagle and some colour to the wing feathers for a more natural look. Or at least that's what I tried and it don't look so bad sitting on my screen. Good work and thanks for sharing.

Tick - It is hard to imagine that the eagle takes a back seat to the turkey vulture, waiting for it to migrate before hunting. In Connecticut, eagles have returned, though many are in a migratory pattern. The few who stay have built their enormous nests. I like the eagle being shown in it surroundings in this image. Thad
