I recently did a cleaning of my gallery and deleted some that I miss being there. This is one of them. I liked the Watchdog In Training photo it encouraged by Jan. I did a little more work on it and decided to "repost" it.
Edit:I apologize for those who had already commented but Count B suggested it needed a little beefing up since it wasn't a poodle or some other lap dog. I agree.

Biffobear-Count B: I like this image the way the doark areas blend with the dark of the dog..I maybe would have given him a little more room..He looks a tad squashed..Overal very nice though....R.

Sensational shot, TicK. The variety of your work is only surpassed by your skills. The black background really creates a mood that you only improved upon with the lighting in your post photo work. If you ever tire of playing golf, you definitely have a career in dog portraiture. This is probably the second best dog shot I've seen on Caedes. This one is still my all time favorite, I think.

Rottweilers are beautiful dogs, and their facial expressions seem almost human. The black background highlights the markings on Watchdog's face quite well.

Tick - The dog's eyes are penetrating the lens, staring directly at the viewer. With his serious look, one wonders what great philosophical ideas are whirling around in his brain. With the dark background and body fur, the portrait is of the facial highlights. Exceptional work. Thad
