Owd Timer does some "dabblin" but I am not good at that so I tryed my hand at "fiddlin" around. I know the sky is noisy but the moon, birds and clouds are all made with brushes so why should I worry. I used Hawkmont, Obsidan Dawn and Portfolio brushes respectively to help create the scene in the sky. The water was made using the flood filter. I actually took the photo of the gull.

The original photo of the gull had only the sky as a background. I know there are many gull photos on here so I hope you can find some pleasure in one more. If not "May the Great Gull of Revenge Droppings find the roof of your car!"

It's not my car I'm worried about, TicK. When I walk on the beach and a gull approaches, I hold my hand to shield my eyes, and have my mouth open in awe as it flies directly overhead. I'm afraid my stupidity will make for a 3-pointer from "downtown".

While I'm not as big a fan of the computer generated stuff as I once was, I give you all the credit in the world for the effort involved. Since your narrative is mostly gibberish to me, I'll assume this is PhotoShopese.

My favorite part of the shot is that reflection. Now that you're an "expert" you can occasionally add a drop of the fantastical into your shots, and we'll hopefully never know.

Well done. I wouldn't know what to do with a 'brush'. Only thing I might suggest is a gentle blurring of the horizon line. Good shot of the gull.

Good manipulation work and creativity, Tick. I like the reflection you've incorporated into the image. I would suggest moving the horizon line further up; somewhere around half way up the wing on the right hand side.
