Not a normal angle of a horse I would post even in an election year. I just liked how the horse's head was so visible. I also wonder what happened to the other leg. Enjoy.
Tick - Poor horse - missing a leg and needing to use its head for balance! Ooh that sky is outstanding. Good use of the rule of thirds in this comp. Add the lighting and colors and you have an excellent photo presented here. Thad
What can I say, TicK? Your work of late has been masterful. The colors on this shot, and especially the sky, are fabulous. The horizon is right on the bottom third of the shot with one of the prettiest skies I've seen in a very long time. I'm not sure I care for the view of the horse since I'm known as a horse's ass far and wide, but the clarity of the shot is particularly sharp. One thing for sure is that your postings are rarely boring. Although you have a recurring theme with the horses you post, each one seems better than the last.
I like the angle it showcases the head and the eye. There may be only three legs but they good sound strong legs. Our politicians never have a leg to stand on. Referring to them as the backside of an equine is to good for them . Not to mention an insult to horses everywhere. Nice capture , beautiful sky. Jen-Nay
Apparently the leg has to be behind its neck and not showing cause the one back leg is straight opposite it. Aren't I smart?...lol...Cool and beautiful shot Ticker! Nice comp, beautiful sky and great color!!!
Given the games played in the Primaries thus far (Not excluding Mr. Gingrich's $4M campaign debt - "Yeah, right..."), I'd say the back-end view very much fits the scenario...Good one, Cap'n...Faved...
Tick all the good lines have been taken, I would compare this to our politics, but that is an insult to this beautiful animal. This is a very clever shot, and what a beautiful sky to set it off so well. Tigz♥ =^..^=
It looks like the horse is suffering from a swollen jaw from this angle. Either that or it's stuffing it's maw with as much grass as possible like a chipmunk hoarding peanuts. A good capture of the grazing horse, Tick. Great colours and details in the photo and a lovely looking sky.

Lovely shot, Tick. Unfortunately, your reference to politics reminded me of how much more useful the rear end of that horse is, compared to so many politicians.
