This is a lot of sky I know but I couldn't resist it. Warm Spring Ranch is located in Boonville, Missouri. I took this from the front gate because it was locked. You can only go in during tour hours. I was able to gain access one day but it was after dark. No I didn't sneak in. I was with a group that is job related. Photo ops were not very plentiful because the horses had been put to bed for the night. I will share a few in the future. You can read why the studs like this place so by clicking here.

I will be gone to a golf tournament over the weekend and gone to a baseball tournament later next week so my time here will be limited. Just wanted you to know I wasn't snubbing anyone due to lack of comments.

Cool shot , Tick . I like the colors and the sky is beautiful.
I have been to this ranch , it is a great place .
They recently donated a Clydedales to the New Orleans Mounted Police. It was quite the fanfare . Great shot.
Enjoy the golf and the baseball tournaments.

---and gone to a baseball tournament---

Enjoy the time you can share with your grandkids.

You've provided us with a good panoramic shot Tick. After reading the above comments, it's pretty difficult to add another original one. Therefore I think it's the best I can do is to join them.

Have a good time, both with the golf and baseball tournement, OFT.

Regards, Cornelius.

Love that sky and the curve of the road. The fence shadows add more interest and all combined makes a beurtifully composed scene.
Have a great weekend !

Looks like one of those 'popcorn' skies. The colors are so nice here. What really makes the shot for me is the winding of the four rail fencing and that red barn. Nice comp.

This is an excellent example of when a dominant sky is perfectly compatible with the subject material. The sky is static and the road, fence and shadows meander through the landscape in a comfortable viewing pattern. Balance is perfect with the reverse 2/3rd - 1/3rd approximate space allocation. Well handled, Tick

Hello Ron...I like how you have used the fence, shadows and the road as lead lines....These elements are very effective because they give structure to this lovely photograph....To me the lines have unified the composition by directing my eyes to the house in the distance...Well done...All the very best to you Ron....Mick.
