The St. Louis Cardinals late radio announcer Jack Buck, capped each Cardinal victory with "That's A Winner." This game ending play at my grandson's state baseball tournament in St. Louis allowed me to make the same exclamation. That is my grandson applying the tag for the final out. His team finished second in the Consolation Bracket. He had fun so that was all that counted.
I thought this would make a good contest entry.

This is a nice action shot Tick and a very good capture with sand flying all over with the action. That is the whole idea of a tournament - to have fun - because everybody knows that all of the teams cannot win.

Great looking sports action shot, Tick. Congrats to your grandson for the 2nd place in the consolation bracket. That's pretty good, I would think. You not only captured the tag very nicely, but I like that kid in the center with the big smile on his face, with his feet a foot off the ground!

A right on perfect action shot!! I have no idea what a final tag is so I can't tell which is your grandson...lol...I'm not a baseball freak even though one of mine played last year. I think you have a winner here, TicK. I was wondering where you were and heard that you were at your grandson's baseball tournament. Here's the photo to prove it. There's nothing for me to complain about on this one, TicK. The best shot of the day by far and this is my 35th comment of the evening; so it had to be this good or I would have written "Nice Shot, Thanks for sharing." What are you going to do with the two months in the Cadre? Congratulations on sewing up the contest!!

Dang, for all the dust how does anyone know where their plate from home is? I just hope it ain't granny's fine china or the commemorative Elvis plate buried under all that dust.
A great action shot of your grandson playing tag. I reckon he'd of had an easier time of it if he'd tagged the overweight fella in the blue instead. Probably stand a better chance of getting away afterwards as well. From the onlookers expressions you folks take your playground games very seriously.
