Just messing with textures again. This one has the same grasses photo blended into the pump and flowers as the one the Owd Timer used here. I did the normal editing on the photo before I did the blending.
To be honest I think I would prefer to see this image without the texture job Tick. There is too much texture everywhere. Hope you don't mind me saying that.
The original of this, with that old rusty pump, must have had more than enough texture for this beautiful image. Nothing wrong with experimentation, though. That same texture could be great on a large, smooth surface. I'd try it if I knew how to do it :-).
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Nice deep colors. Reminds me a homemade paper or rice paper. I wonder what would have happened had you blended and then adjusted. Experimentation is always good.
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
Well that is one way to insulate your water pipes, not necessarily effective but unique. If nothing else it will bring a smile to the plumber's face. Interesting post work. But, the flowers seem a bit flat and darkish in the scene as if the pump had been over-layered into the photo.
