Another shot from Marceline, Missouri. The boyhood home of Walt Disney. You can read about it here.

This is in the city park not far from the museum. Call me a Big Dumbo, but I like to think Walt spent some time in an office like this concocting some of his brilliant ideas.

This is a nice capture of the wagon with a beautiful background Tick. There were mice running about in Walt's wagon and that is how the idea of Micky was born. There were no elephants running about in Missouri - so the idea of Dumbo came later after he visited a zoo for the first time.

Tick - So, you are stating that Walt had to go to the back of the train to get the frontmost ideas? Great sky background. Terrific post-photo work! Thad

Kids today miss out on waving to the caboose guy. I really miss seeing these at the end of a train. Sad day when they were taken away in my opinion.
This is a great shot and post,Tick.
Excellent color and composition.

We will always love our trains, whether we get to ride them or they are short-tracked, like this one Tick. What a great centerpiece for a park - to show future generations the real past. (Better than modern statues.)

I'm sorry but you lost me on this one. I guess it's that one-track mind of mine. A nice capture of the end of the train. Great post work on the photo to add some dynamic lighting in the scene.
