I always wondered how tall a fence it took to keep a Midget in check. It seems there is a fued brewing between the Amish and the Midgets in my part of the world. The Amish don't have electricity and the Midgets can't reach the light switches. This has nothing to do with the feud.

The feud stems from the availability of horses. There seems to be an over abundance of Amish horses, but horses for the Midgets are in short supply. They claim they are being discriminated against. The Midgets are also being charged the same horse tax as the Amish. Again the Midgets claim discrimination because their horses don't take up as much room on the roads. Personally I think the feud is a bunch of you know what. I will keep you posted.

Awful big barn (and stretch of land) for midgets...Maybe that's why the Amish discriminate...

But then again, your stories aren't the easiest things to figure out...Too much rum on the author's part, methinks...

Nice image and story, Cap'n...Faved...

It must be damp, old country too because that roof sure looks wrinkled. Those must be miniature horses the midgets are talking about. Maybe they could get some St. Bernards or Great Danes to ride and there would be no cause for a feud. I didn't think the Amish were into feuding, but I don't know any so I can't say. Interesting take on the subject at hand, visually and narratively.

I think It's a small thing blown out of all proportion..The long and short of it is,The Midgets need smaller barns or longer paintbrushes..It's a good'un...R.

The switches are kept high for the midgets because midgets fidget with gadgets. You are a funny guy Tick and always full of ideas and puns. Nice shot of the midget building.

You always manage to come with some good stories, since I'm 5 foot tall or possibly less as I get older some might consider me a midget. Lol! Tigz♥ =^..^=

So what happens if you are an Amish Midget? You are in between a rock and a hard place. Very cool shot of that handsome barn, Tick. I think I will pass on following this feud, and turn on reruns of Richard Dawson on Family Feud! LOL.

Oh my goodness, that's truly funny Tick, lol. They go by the name Little People. Yes they would definitely would need a latter to get on the horse. That's a cool looking barn.

Once again, You've livened things up Tick. Too bad there are no midget horses in the photo in front of this great barn. Maybe we'll see some in future when You pass by again.

It is recommended that a minimum height of 7 foot, 3 and five-sixteenth inches is needed to keep less than average height people confined. The fence in your photo is only 6 ft in height and they were able to escape before you arrived to capture them on film for posterity. An interesting scene.
