I borrowed my daughter Kodak Easyshare Z812 in 2007 when I was deep in the Ozarks in Missouri. It shot in 8.1 megapixels and did a good job. I don't know why I have had three different camera's since then.

A little editing information for those who might be interested. I used Photoshop CS6 and did some unsharp masking, levels and auto tone. On auto tone I edited using multiply. I cropped it in Photoscape and added some contrast in Photofiltre. It sounds more complicated then it was.

Only three. Sounds like you're not even trying to take this photographing thing seriously.
Good composition of the photo and perspective in the scene. I like how the lighting changes from one side to the other. A nice reflection on this still stretch of the stream. Nicely done.

I followed that. The reflection is as beautiful as the bank, which reminds me of the white cliffs of Dover. Just enough sharpening and contrast does wonders as in your image.

Beautiful scene and shot, Tick . I think the reflections are outstanding as well as the color tones. I am going to have to check out that " using multiply ". Nice work.

The result is very good Tick. Good reflection here and clarity, sharpness. Why couldn't you crop and add contrast in Photoshop itself? I use "photofiltre studio" for removing haze and for the funtion "replace colour". It does both better than photoshop.

Outstanding shot this is Tick. I have been stuck on my old Canon A550 for several years now, just like it and know how to use all that it will do in manual mode.

You are far more advanced than I am, Tick. I don't have the patience to do all that to a shot, nor the software! The reflection are stunning, and it's an overall great looking shot!

Nice work, Tick. A nicely balanced scene. That far left tree and it's reflection are excellent in drawing the viewer right through the scene.

It portrays a true sense of fall and the black water is doing a great job of reflecting the rock cliff face and trees. And I know what you mean about older, lower-resolution cameras. One of my personal favorite shots is one I took 7 years ago with a 5mp Canon p&s. The only suggestion I would make is to use the blue sky reflected in the water, in the far bottom right, to clone out that tiny triangle of shoreline down there. Otherwise it's an excellent submission. I'll give it an 82—it has a heady piquant flavor and I can indeed dance to it. 8D
