It is difficult for me to get too far away from the straight forward landscape photo. With all the effects I try now I still prefer this type of scene. I must admit FDR was used but no textures. It is the FDR from the prewar years. :)

It won't be long until we will be looking North as the snow and cold comes upon us. The deer will be running by the little deer stand and hunters will be filling the sky with lead. For now I will fill it with pixels.

This reminds me of the Amish country in Ohio. I love the rolling hills. I like the colors in this too. The FDR is is beautiful and Eleanor approves. Nice work, Tick.

It's got all the classic items necessary for a farm scene, well done, Tickmeister. Would you really kill a deer? I'm just askin...

Simple and beautiful Tick. It reminds me of much of Wisconsin and Minnesota! I live in the country and am surrounded by many fields of many kinds.

I agree with Raj. I like the almost natural colors, and
you proof that a 'simple' scene could be wonderful if you
only have an eye for it !
Well done, Ron !

I like this. The far distant view is eye catching and the green gate vs the red gate compliment each other. Nice.

Nice pastoral scene, Tick. I'm in much the same rolling hills type of countryside, and don't shoot enough of it.

Tick - Are the fence gates to keep animals in or photographers out? Nice HDR color saturation on this pastoral scene. Thad

Strangely enough I'm always looking south for the cold grip of winter to strike us here at home.
You left the gate open and now all this fella's weeds are escaping. Luckily you didn't let his herd of bales free, or they would still be rolling over the hills and dales.
Outside of that this ain't a bad photo or scene to take in. A great view of the fields and a lovely sky.
