I mentioned in my Air Mail post that I knew a guy who was waiting for a card or letter. It is plain to see he has been waiting for some time. He goes down to the mail box every morning and waits but he always returns home empty handed. He gets a little tanked while he is waiting. He has cultivated a lot of patience over the years. I wouldn't pipe off around him about not getting any mail because he is as solid as a piece of metal and will not tolerate any heckling. His name is Jonesy by the way.

Send a little love Jonesy's way so he don't end up down in the dumps.

Maybe he should say Pretty Please, Mr. Postman the next time he comes by. Or, I could just bring him my bills and whole lot a junk mail. Really cool shot, Tick.

You've been hanging onto this one for the right moment 'cause I know there's no snow in MO yet. lol Glad you didn't hold out as long as this fellow who appears to be looking you straight in the lens. Some people are very creative and I'm glad when they also have a sense of humor. Cute post.

A great portrait of Jonesy, Tick. I'll see to it that he gets all my unsolicited mail. A great find of this folk art piece. A good perspective in the shot and good lighting and colours in the scene.
