I played in a golf tournament yesterday and I think my picture taking was better then my ball striking. I did both about an equal number of times. The golf course is "The Preserve," and it is located on Lake Rathburn near Moravia, Iowa. As you can see the weather was beautiful and the fellowship was just as nice. I only lost two balls all day. Sad but true. This is Hole #13 and is a par 3.

What a beautiful course!!! Pretty hilly though. Doesn't that make it rougher to play? Superb shot of it Ticker!!!

Fantastic shot. I don't like golf, but I adore their terrains. I could walk there for hours, just to be careful from the ball of some "skillful" golfer. LOL

Well I'm no sports psychologist so I won't venture a guess or opinion on why you golf. Though if I was prone to a guessing I would say its because you own a set of clubs and were a might disappointed that they weren't gopher whackers.

I took me a long gander at the photo and I'm afraid I'll be of no assistance in locating your lost balls. Maybe next time you'll bring a few more with you and make it past this particular hole. Or maybe tie a string around the ball so you can find it should it go errant. The important thing is that you made it this far.

You got a right pretty view, though I can't see the three parsons you claim are in the scene. I see two of them up on the hill, but I suspect they are Methodists.
