I had a Jonesy in this photo and received a call from the Smiths wanting equal time. I am here to please. This was taken a couple of years ago in Nauvoo, IL at the Morman settlement. I didn't see Mitt Romney anywhere. Come to think of it, I didn't see Obama either. There are a lot of people out of work in our country, so if this guy doesn't lose his job, he might be my entry into the contest.

You got another winner in my book, Tick. It's a shame no one reads my book, though. I love the selective coloring you have here, and the Smithy looks to be a right friendly guy. Don't be shocked if you get a call from the Wesson's now. LOL. Good luck in the contest.

This would be Quite the Impressive entry, Tick! I like the Colors of the Flames left intact, as it Contrasts Nicely with the Fine monochrome Composition... Nice Work!!!

I think it's an excellent capture and contest entry . Great tones and I also like the fact that you left the fire intact.
I love the narrative , I hope he doesn't lose his job and you are faced with pulling the entry. I'd think tho... with the price of fuel in our country he'd be busy keeping the original horse power on the road . Good Luck in the contest !

Good one. I like the black because it reminds me of blacksmiths and the dust and dirt of their fires and I like that you left the coals hot. Good luck.
