All across America, football is as much of a sign of fall as the changing colors of the leaves. My grandson played football this year and I spent one night a week taking photos of his exploits. This is not his team but the one they played and defeated 34-14 a couple of weeks ago. I thought the red uniforms went well with the fall colors and the rural scene in the background. The players are going through their pregame warmups. I only have about 1200 photos of the football season but I doubt I post all of them.

Or perhaps the 29 Moons of Fall (since #55 is standing up) 8P

Nice shot Ron. I'm guessing the lights were on since it appears to be late afternoon/early evening and the lighting on these guys is very good.

You have a grandson this old? I thought they were all younger. I like the shot of their formation of warm ups and the red does show them off well. Superb Ticker!!!

Great capture and they form a great round circle. Super colours, I see it must have rained with puddles on the track

Very colorful shot, with the Fall colors and the uniforms. I like the reflections on the wet track, too. Good work, Tick.

It is very colorful and yes a sign of fall.
I like the rural scene as the background, those red uniforms pop off the screen. Great shot and post for a Friday night where this scene is being played out across America. Nicely done Tick.

Very interesting shot, Tick. I would say this is typical "manly" photo, I don't think a woman would shoot this. Except if her sun is in the team. LOL

Good 'action' shot....I love it when children take an interest in something, instead of hanging around street corners!

also that looks a canny catapult on the right!...

Colourful and interesting scene Tick. Also the background looks nice. The taskmaster(trainer)is keeping a sharp eye on everyone.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Quick glance led me to think this a neatly arranged pumpkin patch. Those uniforms sure stand out from the bright Autumn landscape. Neat shot and different for Caedes. Those boys are all very much in sync. Guess not enough though to beat your grandson's team.

Good thing these accident prone young men are wearing helmets and padding. We wouldn't want them to hurt themselves when they fall down. A good angle in this capture, Tick. Great colours and details in the scene.
