I guess I am next in line since I solved LynEve's Picture Puzzle #7. You can see it here. You can also see the rules to the contest here.

I suspect the building this mural was painted on is as old as the depicted scene. Evidently the artist was thinking back to another time. PM me your guess so as not to spoil it for anyone. The scene is on a building in Quincy, IL which has absolutely nothing to do with the answer. Good luck.

Go to second link above for some clues.

Samatar won the contest by correctly knowing it was Yesterday by the Beatles.

First of all, TicK, I have no idea what you're talking about with the puzzle business and just don't have the time to check it out. I am so far behind on my computer work, correspondence and household chores that I was walking my dogs this morning and thought I saw somebody familiar about a mile in front of me. When I caught up to him, I was sweating, winded and exhausted and looked up into his face and realized it was me. That's how far behind I am.

Love the shot. I haven't been commenting because I was in Illinois for a while and am still trying to catch up. I noticed a few of your earlier postings and saw some dramatic layering. When I first saw this at postage stamp size, I thought it was one of your photos on top of brick texturing.

Very nice work, but I'll have to pass for now on the puzzle thing although I might be able to stop back and read about it when I catch up.

Tick, I have my thinking cap on, but nothing is coming to me at the moment. A colorful mural from another time ... the streetcar & riverboat caught my eye. Nicely captured, Tick.

I have no idea puzzle-wise as I am not good with things cryptic but I do like your photo of the mural (or Murial as a beloved soap-opera character over here used to say).

I really love this image and can imagine it hung on a wall. Will make do with my desktop :)
Nothing at all springs to mind for the answer though.
I think we need some clues Tick !
