Another from the streets of St. Joseph, Missouri. I did a little editing, added one of my textures and this is what I got. The texture is a photo of some boards that the paint was peeling. There are all kinds of natural textures one can use if they take the time to look and shoot.

I thought this might work in LynEves b/w challenge. Have a good weekend.

Perfect title, Tick. The texture works nicely too. I've been taking photo's of textures for years ... tree bark, wood paneling, old walls, marbled countertops, etc. I just have to edit them & find the right image for them.

I like this in the toned B & W ... give a sense of age to the image. Creative work & will do well in LynEve's challenge.

TicK...if you're going to follow the letter of the law (which is what I always do), then this is not a B/W due to the apparent lack of "W". The competition is tough enough without you entering wonderful shots like this. In fact, I would encourage all of the people who enter the B/W contest to withhold their submittals when I'm in the competition.

I really like the antique look you've given the subject with your texture layering, TicK. That almost looks like a hand above the clock. What's that all about?
