Really beautiful, Tick... with one exception. The pod that exits the border directly behind the highest petal draws attention away from the subject, as does anything that exits a border. Single items being the most pronounced.
Pretty close crop - both top and bottom - for my unreasonable tastes. Otherwise my only complaint is that you took the shot and I didn't. Additionally, I thought you had a great idea back in the early 70's when you suggested that we start posting "Goofy Friday" shots instead of "Foofy Friday" shots. I'm in if you are.
And I will ask you once again...Why did you change from "TicK" to "Tick"?
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By. Thanks For Sharing ! Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Good clarity, focus and lighting in this capture Tick. I'll complain about the composition since nobody else has and inform you in no uncertain terms that you should have cropped in from the right as close as possible to the outstretched petal. Then add the same amount of lead-in room on the left hand side.
A dainty sole flower..(name unknown)..great lighting and 'purfick' camera work!
