The farmers around here have started their own bale out program. It has been endorsed by Herefords, Angus, Sheep, Goats, Horses and other residents of the local Hayburner's Club.

The Hayburner's Club meets every morning during the winter months and reconvene around dusk. The bring up all their problems and chew on them until the next morning. When the chips are down, they will make a decision. I am always careful not to step in the middle of anything while they are meeting. Sometimes it just pays to watch and listen.

You better watch it, Tick. The narrative is almost as good as the image, and competing with yourself is rather tricky :)

They all must have eaten some of Joanie's Sprouts then!....

A typical harvest scene made good by the chucklebum mind of an owld tick!

Very beautiful panoramic shot with the tees on either side and that ska. It gives one a sense of wide open space. As for the narrative nice to see a typisch Tick's Narrative after quite some time :)

It is a very nice country image Ron and very similar to what I am accustom to seeing. I like the spot you chose to shoot this from. It makes for a great DT with the purple wildflowers in the foreground, very nice indeed.

Very nice farm image Ron. I really enjoyed your narrative. It made me smile.:) They are baling out all over the place here in Alabama.

A lovely rural scene Tick - the splash of purple thistle is a nice inclusion It must have escaped the balers.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Hey, what happen to Summer?? It went from the 90s to 70s like, over-night! Loved your picture and your pun-laden narrative. Something to always look forward to.

Somebody's been very messy round here Tick. They've gone and dropped giant hay bales every where!
