I got tired of my gallery looking so drab, that I thought I would add a little color. By the way, is drab a color? I hope not.
This was taken a couple of years ago at the Villages Festival in Southern Iowa. This particular shot was taken from the bridge crossing the Des Moines River in Keosaqua, Iowa. The word Keosauqua derives from the Meskwaki and Sauk name for the Des Moines River, "Ke-o-saw-qua", which literally translates as "Bend in the River".

A perfect sky, excellent reflections, stunning colors, and a composition which catch the attention instantly are the ingredients of this great posting OFT (Owd Fella Tick). If these reasons are not sufficient to label this posting as a favorite, than the phenomenon 'favorite' can better be abolished.

A great lazy river shot judging by the calmness in the surface of the water. A beautiful fall capture with a nice glow in the colours. Nice depth and perspective in the scene.
