I have been watching some artists on here and their work with textures and faces. I decided to give it a try. I found my model here.. The textures are my own. When I finished I couldn't make up my mind whether she is looking in or out of the fencing. I will let you make up your own mind.

The say that imitation is the best form of flattery. With that in mind. I would like to honor those that inspired me. Shads(casechaser), SAW(mesmerized) and Rob(rdvb).

I do not think myself in their class by any means, but I did want to give it a try. Hope you enjoy.

Dear SOT,
Either this stuff is not that hard to master or you are very talented or else - both. :)
I also detect one stolen hairstyle - mine !!!
Otherwise very decent work :)

Tick, I think this is a very good first try, I believe she is looking out. The coloring, gives me that impression, and you have some good textures in this. Your expanding your horizons, and I look forward to more. Tigz♥ =^..^=

Excellent first attempt at this TicK! Fantastic textures. Thanks for the link to the heads. I was contemplating a trip to my local department store to shoot some mannequins. Didn't know how I'd explain that to curious on-lookers.

Surely a Rob Compliment Indeed Tick.

Like your take on, "WOMEN BEHIND BARS".

Contact A&E I think they would be interested in making a Reality Show of it.

Your first attempt has turned out to be quite good Tick. It can only get better as more ideas come into the head while lying awake :) Nice textures, colouring and shading here.

To me it's wonderful you to see that Pat, John and Rob have succeeded in stimulating other Caedes-friends to create this kind of artwork. Had never expected that you would be that talented as well OFT (Owd Fella Tick). Proves to me as well that your mind is still very flexible. Kudos.

PS: I envy you my friend!

Regards, Cornelius.

Tick, I am honored by your kind comments and that you would mention me in company with John and Rob...actually, after viewing this I'm thinking I need to go back and sharpen my pencil...a marvellous manip IMO...great blending, layering, lighting, choice of textures and mood...I tend to think she's on the inside looking out but there is just enough uncertainty to keep the viewer pondering over that, which is always good when it comes to art...a job well done, SOT, and I'll be recommending you for a promotion at SOS headquarters...faved.

I'm impressed Tick. I think she has a wistful look in her eyes and so she's on the outside looking in. She's sad because of whoever is inside has broken her heart.
