This is another shot of this auto. As I mentioned in the first post, my neighbor is the Funeral Home and the owner is the Undertaker. He is also the County Coroner. The car is his pride and joy and he might drive it once a year. I also previously mentioned that he has a dry sense of humor. Following is an example.

Several years ago the state of Missouri was having floods of epic proportions. It got so bad that one cemetery on the Missouri River became partially underwater. Coffins were being washed out of graves and ending up in the Missouri River. The Missouri River empties into the Mississippi down stream from this site. Help was enlisted and many of the coffins were rescued. Coroner's were called in from all over the state to help identify the bodies in the caskets. My neighbor said it was quite a chore, but they eventually finished. Not all bodies were discovered and families of missing bodies had to be notified. He said he was explaining the situation to one family member about how his dad's casket had never been recovered. The man thought for a minute, rubbed his chin and without cracking a smile said: "Well, dad always wanted to go to New Orleans!"

---"Well, dad always wanted to go to New Orleans!"---

That's a very very dry sense of humor indeed OFT (Owd Fella Tick). Think that meanwhile he has passed New Orleans and may be arrived in submerged Atlantis. If so, he may have the company of Neptune.

Excellent capture of the coroner's toy. I can imagine that he drives in it only once a year. Good entry for the challenge as well.

Regards, Cornelius.

It sure looks like my very first car which was a 1940 Black Ford Coupe. It certainly never looked as good as this one, but it only cost me $65. in 1955.
Nice of the birds to pose for this shot. Obviously they prefer Fords.

This car brings back memories to me too Tick. I like the birds sitting on the wire. Not only the customer's son but undertakers must have a sense of humour too to get on with their work day in day out. You said once that the neighbour measures you with his eyes !!! :)

This is very creative and inventive approach, dear agent SOT. Very fine image plus the most obliging birds :)
The car does not remind me anything but a car [whose make will come to me in time] that once my late uncle owned... ADLER ! It was Adler.
Good joke, maybe the undertaker should become our guru, particularly as regards the sense of humour :)
