My wife had eye cataract surgery today and this Six Foot Leprechaun was handing out Gold Nuggets from his Pot of Gold Kettle. He agreed to a photo and I whisked him away to a new background. The hospital hallway was depressing.

On a good note, the surgery went perfectly and she can now see much better. I hope she doesn't think I aged too much during the morning. If she does, I will say I was just worried about her.

Update: The Leprechaun is a lady named Andrea

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Owd Fella Tick (OFT), I Hope that your wife is doing well after the eye cataract surgery today.
I know that today you're celebrating St. Patrick's Day in the USA, so you've chosen a very appropriate background color to portrait this 'tiny' female 'fellow'. Very nice and funny capture.

Although the day is almost gone here, I wish you still a happy St. Patrick's Day my friend.

Regards, Cornelius.

Took my wife out to eat in New Orleans today and stopped by Harrah's Casino for a couple of hours to see if I had the Luck of the Irish or the Big L still on my Forehead. While there I saw so many Giant Leps I thought Mardi Gras was still in progress.

Needless to say my middle name is still LAMONT, as Fred use to say...."You Big Dummy Lamont". The Big L is still there.

I know the "Leprechauns" are capable of magic, but how long did it take him to turn into a girl. And when you whisked HIM away, did you get HER address???

Ah Ha! The bearded lady has left the carnival to join a band of Leprechauns, eh? Well, that's probably for the better..more profitable anyway...with spring coming with lots of rainbows during and after the rains...and all those pots of gold! I should join them myself! Fantastic work on this, Tick.

I'm glad your wife's surgery went well.

That's great news that the surgery went well today TicK. Vision will only improve as she heals. Glad the leprechaun was making rounds to cheer up the hospital. I just enjoyed a traditional corned beef boiled dinner to celebrate St Patrick. You too have reason to celebrate.

I had mine (one eye) three years ago Tick. I remember how every thing looked brighter and more colourful as the bandage was taken off the next day. A very nice post on a nice background for St. Patrick's day Tick.

I know several people who have had cataract surgery and have raved about how well they see afterwards. Please pass on our best wishes to her and may the luck of the Irish wash over you both.
