I was really impressed with a post by sonyatod on The Living Saint of Bulgaria. You can see it here. She sent me some more photos and the face in the tree belongs to him. With Easter getting close, I thought the Thorn Tree was a perfect choice to do this manipulation. The tree is a Missouri Honey Locust. It is on Number 6 Tee at our golf course. I want to thanks Sonya for letting me use her photo. I sent the photos to our local newspaper and the information she had on her post. They plan to post the photos in an article sometime soon. I hope you enjoy this. I plan on entering it in the b/w challenge.

Outstanding Tick! First it made me smile then it made me think of the Living Trees in the Movie, Lord of the Rings.

That is One Gnarly Tree with all those Thorns. First time I ever see one. Nothing like that here....Thanks for sharing and Best of Luck.

Amazing and talented manip TicK. I hope you'll provide a link to the published article in one of your future posts. Trees on courses where I play, as one approaches the back nine, come in handy for other purposes. Happy "Masters" weekend and best of luck in the B/W Challenge!

There is a bit more here than what meets the eye Ron, I feel that you had something in your third eye through the process when you put this all together ,great b/w challenge too!I think a good follow up would be the newspaper article if you could post that, at least I would be very interested in reading it.!!!

A wonderful manipulation Tick. One has to lean back and look at it to see the face. A very good entry for the b/w challenge.

Outstanding manip OFT (Owd Fella Tick). Good entry for the challenge.
In my childhood I've seen many illustrations in fairy tale books where the trees had a human face. But as child I was disappointed that I could see none of them in real, but by your creation my dreams finally have come true.

Regards, Cornelius.
