I will leave it up to your imagination to picture what has crossed before these cowboys, and what is still behind them waiting to cross. Can you imagine the thrill of seeing parts of the country for the first time. A time before concrete! It must have been exhilarating. My entry for the contest.

This is a stunning image for the contest it looks like a old photography and the fitter you add is amazing .Plus lovely looking scene and nice composition and I love the smoothness of the water and the refkections in this shit as well.

See a John Wayne look-alike crossing the river Tick. Must be the same person as depicted in your 'The crossing' image. See however that Bob has another opinion about that. Doesn't matter who's right, it's anyhow a nostalgic image.

"A time before concrete!" - Depending on how you want to define that time, it would have been a long, long time ago when there was no concrete. Which would make these gentlemen a couple of time-traveling cowboys. Here's hoping they don't disturb the timeline too much.
