This boot was located in Red Wing, Minnesota and looked splendid during the Red Wing Art Association festival this past summer. Painted umbrellas were the star of the show, but I found this boot quite unique. I might post one of the umbrellas at a later date.
There are benches available for any lazy passerby's or photographers who had a HDR day. Owd Bob could really stretch out here. If you look closely, you will find several O's, a D and some funky B's. Just slip the boot on for an L and you have Old BOB. You could use the W for OWD and get the L out. I wonder where they got the idea to use a boot? :) Possible entry for the current contest.

An 'all in one' post Tick. Not only an ideal place for our Owd Timer (he can do his outdoor nap in stereo here (snoring, lol) on a Lazy day), but a perfect place having all the ingredients for the current contest as well.

Only in Minn-e-sota will you find huge boots. This one may have been made at the Red Wing Shoe Factory ... boots are their specialty.

This is one sight you just had to snap it look is great and very artistic looking with amazing colours and lovely sharp detail to and I love the grass effect on the bottom of this boot.Nice composition to and thanks fir sharing this interesting looking photo as well.

assuming where the boot co.is from? they are good boots if im thinking of the same thing. now this is interesting & im not showing the wife..we have a few pairs from this co. laying around here. im often threaten with having a red wing place somewhere rather unpleasant when dragon lady is upset. this would be right up here alley!..huumm or mine depending on how you look at that statement..either way, not good! however the shot is fabulous!

The thing that goes the farthest, towards making life worthwhile, it costs the least and does the most, is just a pleasant smile.
Bravo on spotting this really cool boot and really like the way they've painted it. Marvelous capture and I think this would be a super entry to the current contest. Really like all the colours and the way the boot shines, you can actually see reflections of a silver truck, buildings behind it and also the lovely sky & clouds, in the toe when you view in full.
