A couple of horses are headed for the corral to have a frosty to drown their sorrows. Summer has come and gone and only frosty morns are on their horizon. Think I will join them.

I would have liked to have given them more room to roam, but I liked the tree and it was a small pasture.

I might have some frost and / or snow on the ground by morning, so I know how the horses feel. Glad you included the small tree as it gets me wondering how many times a day the horses pass it by on their daily rounds. A wonderful capture, Tick. Cheers!

Guess you all are headed in the right direction then to get your drink before the snow flies. Great capture.

'Frosty'...is that what you call beer!...or just how chilled you like it!...
I'm sure the hosses will enjoy the 'Hops' that the beer will bring them!...

Lovely setting and the horses are beautiful. I really like the tone and texture of the fine grass tassels.

Tick, I thought by your title that you would tell us something about injustice, but, reading your narrative, I suppose now that you're in a melancholic mood. Although I like some beers from time to time, I know that drinking beer is not a solution for resolving problems permanently. You know this too, but these horses aren't aware of that, so that you, capable to talk with horses, have to tell them too.

Anyhow a very fine picture Owd Fella, would almost bring me in a melancholic mood as well, lol.

I like that you left it in, it gives a good dimension to the image, they look well cared for, and are a handsome pair.

Yes, leave the tree alone. Those two have plenty of "roaming" space at the speed they are going at ;)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Watch out Tick, the buckskin has her ears back. I think she wants something more substantial like Oats and Barley. She needs to do some running - she's getting a little fat from the beer. Good shot of both horses in the pasture.

The trouble is that you colonials don't know how to drink beer at the right temperature and always have it too cold. You should learn a lesson from us and drink it at celler temperature (what you would probably call warm).
Great image, by the way.
