A fall scene that I saw while on my morning walk. I couldn't resist a photo. The water tower in the background has small town written all over it. Well not really, but you know what I mean. I suppose I could manip it a tad and write "small town," on it and then it would comply with my statement. Seems like a lot of trouble and people might not know where they are at. It could cause mass panic for the 750 inhabitants of the quaint little village. Just better leave well enough alone. A walk by shooting is enough excitement for one day.

Someone is going to have a lot of leaves to bag! Sure is a beautiful tree, though. Nothing like a Midwest town for a great looking shot. Well done, Tick.

The thing that goes the farthest, towards making life worthwhile, it costs the least and does the most, is just a pleasant smile.
This is a beautiful shot with that house and that golden tree Tick. Before you used to shoot horses when walking past. This is an equally good target. Good composition and clarity.

its a great shot, i love the water tower in the back ground, i have a few shots of these myself. now you could have climbed to the top with can of spray paint? save some time in software, got another contender for the contest..not to mention cut your walk short..stair climbing is better exercise then walking

This exactly how we on this side of the Atlantic think small-town America looks. Beautiful colours, contrasts and content. The water tower makes me think of Orson Welles and his infamous War of the Worlds broadcast.
