One more photo of the early arriving Robins and I will let them rest. This small flock was outside the Nursing Home, February 26, 2015. One of them flew into the window at the glass entrance. I think it was seeking some warmth. It got up, dusted itself off (snow) and flew away.

I was caught without my Eagle shooting camera and was armed with the Coolpix S9500. I left some of the building in to add more color and try to make it a little warmer for the Robins. Hopefully, Spring is not far behind.

A wonderful shot of the Robin family Tick. They are such brave little birds with their fat little tummies. Like You, I hope spring is here "before we know it."

I bet they are proper wee 'chatter-boxes' when they start tweeting off at each other!....

nice to see a bunch of these Robins together...they seem to have a different colour to ours!...

I like how you framed the Robins with the building and the tree. The color and lighting are outstanding, as well as the focus with the Coolpix. Good job, Tick.

They seem to be quite comfortable in spite of the cold and snow. You must have been close when you took this but of course you talked to them nicely. Good catch Tick.

You seem to have a number of them in your area so they can't all be wrong...spring is nearby...I like the shadows, tree texture and the inclusion of some of the brick that matches the red breasts (oops, can I use that word, lol)...good shot.

Tick, I have viewed your image with more than the usual interest. Robins are very aggressive and don't normally accept congeners in their territory. From that point of view, you have provided us with a remarkable image. It may be that they have forgotten their infighting because of their curiosity for the colored and warmth giving wall, lol.

Very nice shot again Owd Fella.

It's a great shot and I like the composition. The red of the brick really brings out the red breast of the robins. Good work.

Tick - We look and see snow, wondering if the winter will ever end; the robins have a different take on it - with their arrival, I like to go with their take, that warmer weather will soon be upon us.

Agent SOT,
This is a wonderful composition even if accidental in one part or another.
Meaning that the birds sitting arrangement is hard to plan and/or influence :)
Very good and cheerful colours, sweet friend of robins.
Here in Poland the spring has come, a little chilly [still less than 11 degrees Centigrade] but this is it beyond any doubt.
