A local farmer had some fun with his sheep at Easter. I hope he wasn't having too much fun with them. Perhaps I better not pursue that subject. There was a Yellow one, but I couldn't get it to cozy up to Red & Blue. The farmer wasn't around to sweet talk it. Sorry, a little relapse. My favorite part of this photo is the look on the face of the other sheep. It could be thinking a myriad of things, or jealous that it was not a pick of the farmer. Dang, there I go again. I better quit before I say something baaaaaaaaaadddd.

I can't tell if they are smiling for you, or whether they are smiling because they are proud to be displaying their colorful Easter outfits. Maybe a little of both. Outstanding detail and color here, Tick. Great looking shot.

I wouldn't like to be the one that washes and cleans all these!....imagine the language that would be shared eh!...But, then again..a ready knitted and colourful 'Jumper' would keep you warm too!

Tick, in my country the farmer gives every sheep that has made pregnant by a ram a colored dot above the tail. The color shows which ram is the father. It may be that the farmer in your area has forgotten his glasses or was drunk so that the colored dots have become somewhat larger than usual. Think that this has nothing to do with patriotic feelings (of the farmer and the sheep as well, lol)

Oh poor sheep, they don't like their look, bad hair colour on the red one on the head - really like the sheep with the black face on the right. Hope that washes off in the rain
