I took this last year while I was at a meeting in Excelsior Spring. I can't recall the name of the restaurant. It was like going back to the 60's and having a night out. They gave me permission to take a photo. I used some FDR to bring out the colors and the textures. It was "nothing fancy," but the Tenderloin was really good. The Cunningham's said to say hello. Not the food, the folks. The Fonz was not talking. Neither was Ralph the Mouth or Potsie. Not the Chicken Potsie Pie, the person.

Those plastic covered tables and the chairs definitely come from the 60s Tick. Those nice people at the window always come on Wednesdays and reserve that table. Their orders can vary a bit but I doubt it. The last part of your narrative is a riddle to me! Nice capture.

This photo does bring us through a time-warp back to when days were simpler. I like your "FDR" as it brings the photo to life. I've been in Europe for so long, this is the America I would like to find when I eventually return. Not gonna happen on the east coast. WTG Tick.

Going back in time - life was much more enjoyable - glad the tenderloin was good - food tasted better back in the day when no antibiotics, hormones and preservatives were used - Great Shot Tick and wonderful post work as well!!!

Oh I like the looks of this place Tick - I hope it was a fried pork tenderloin sandwich - only find good ones in the Midwest.

I'm getting my letter sweater and saddle shoes and heading over to this place. Hopefully, the prices are right and I don't need to go to the loan shop across the street! Your 'FDR' work enhances the colors and details nicely. So, what was the daily special again?

Is that Marion waiting for Joanie and Chachi to show up? A great shot of the diner, TicK. Good post work on the image.
