Oh my, Tick. Is this the grandson you use to talk about and take fishing, hunting, ball games? I feel I know him, even if it is just through your eyes over the years.
So, is this a sunset or sunrise? Either is fine and either is just beautiful. The lighthouse silhouette is wonderful.

Welcome back, Ron. Almost a year-and-a-half without Tick interpretations of the world is a long time to wait. Hope all is well with you and yours.
As for the photo, outstanding, as usual. The barely visible foliage at the bottom makes the crepuscular rays stand out even more, the colors and composition of the elements are exceptional, and the lighthouse is a good directional foil to the locus of the sun (is that the fresnel lens up there or a fat guy checking his cell phone?). Directly into my wallpaper images folder, thanks, dude.

I think you hit this one out of the park! A wonderful explosion of colors. With the lighthouse and grassy dune as foreground silhouette, the sky pops. Bravo!
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
