I found this dandy lurking in the Harbor at Dayton Beach, Florida. It was watching the boats arrive and was looking for a handout. I always admired the Snowy Egret photos of my good friend Jethro. His were masterpieces. I hope this finds him in good health. Enjoy his gallery when you have the time.

It looks like the 'Stork that brings Babies'...☺

Like the way you captured the 'windswept' feather's on this!

I never get over the intensity of their eyes. Up here along the Canadian border we have Sandhills, looking like giant red-headed woodpeckers. They're good looking birds, too, but something about the blinding solid white of the egret speaks majesty. As for Jethro (100k_xie), his birds are not his only masterpieces; his gallery is loaded with them.

Happy Trails

You can "see" the wind in this shot Tick by his feathers - I like that.

Owd Fella Tick, think that E. J. (aka Jethro) may have taught you how to take such a picture/'portrait', because the result is wonderful.
The feathers 'waving' in a breeze make this one not to a static but dynamic capture.
S+F this one too. Thanks for sharing this beauty!

This is a lovely shot of the egret with sharp details overall against the sky. EJ was on caedes again for a little while a few months ago but then was away again.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Thanks for the Kind Words Tick, Much Appreciated.
Great Shot here my Friend. I see you shot this one during Mating season. That Green above the beak is a Dead Give Away.
It's the only time during the year that they sport the green and also the whispy aigrette feathers you see blowing in the wind. Hope all is Well with You and Yours. Jethro
