At least I think it is Mama (Lilith) Crane. I suppose it could be Frazier. Another shot of the Sandhill Cranes I stalked on my son's farm in Florida.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

Is that what they call a young Crane!..(A colt?)

So well camouflaged I had to look hard for it!

Good shot of mother and child. Mother looks relaxed because you stopped running after them to take this photo Tick.

Would be nice to have a chance to capture these wonderful birds on camera. I love the sound they make. Really like to see a whole flock of them together. Great mother and child capture. Never have gotten this close to them before. Good one Tick.

Life's moments are sweet. I just want to capture all that I can of them.

Mom was sure watching, would be hard keeping track of the young in all that foliage. Fine capture though.

Boy, that colt is almost completely camouflaged--the first time I looked at this one I was using my phone and simply could not spot it.

Tick, we have a blue heron family at a pond in the park where I walk everyday. Beautiful birds, as is this crane.

OFT (Owd Fella Tick), think that they are protesting against the barbed wire in this high position. Would prevent the youngster in the future for a proper 'take off'.

Very nice, and to a certain extent, candid 'family portrait', my friend!

Sure glad you stalked these - I never knew the babies are called that, guess you never stop learning. I've seen the babies even smaller around here. Fabulous shot
