One of our most creative members SAW (Pat-Mesmerized) has been posting some great movie manipulations lately. Here is an example. I thought they were so great, I decided to ask her to go to the movies with me.

She agreed and here is where we went. I had taken a photo of a Drive-In movie screen in Moberly, Missouri and thought maybe she could get some folks to attend. All I had was the screen, support and wall. She did her magic and this is what she came up with. I think it is fantastic. The Western was good but I can't give you the names of the people who attended. Secret Agent stuff don't you know. I can say everything but the Screen are from all-free-download.com or publicdomainpictures.net. This Drive-In is still open but now they give them a speaker to put inside the car. Lean back and enjoy the show.

SAW did 99.9 Per Cent of the work

I know who was there!!! It was:
John Travolta and Olivia Newton John,
Alexandra Paul and Keith Gordon,
Matt Dillon and Diane Lane,
Robert Deniro and Val Kilmer,
and Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt
... not to mention Ron (Tick) and Pat (SAW).

Perfect editing, you two.

I remember a 'Fred Flintstone' feature where he was watching a drivein movie, he placed a huge dino bone on his car tray and it tipped over!...

Always wanted to go to one of these!..

A great collaboration you two - I too remember going to the drive-in as a kid and falling asleep in the back seat.

Thanks, Tick, and everyone, for your kind words...and for offering your image to work with...I had been running out of ideas so this gave me a new challenge and was a lot of fun to do...besides, I could never resist a good western movie at the drive-in theatre:)

Very cool work you two. I remember sneaking in a time or two with a few friends. Made it once and got kicked out the second time around. Oh well, it wasn't a good western anyway.

Excellent work both of you - resulting in this great image.
I decided to come along because I have never been to a drive in movie, ever in my life. They don't happen here. I shall keep under my hat who I spotted attending because as you say - secret agent stuff etc. I tried to stay incognito myself and only one or two recognized me. I was the one in the big hat and dark glasses (I took them off to watch of course)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
