I played golf last Sunday and I was all "pumped up" to play today, but the weather did not cooperate. A shovel replaced my putter and it became a double bogey day.

Sorry you could not get out today and shoot a round. I bet you would have had a great score (especially if you used an orange colored ball).

I am probably the world's worse golfer. My dream is to one day shoot a round so low, it would match the temperature. On a day like the one you are showing in your picture, I would have an unbelievable 32 on my score card! lol.

p.s. I like your lower right hand corner, too!

So sorry Tick - all that stuff is staying south of Chicago for a change! But this shot says it all.

We have just recovered from the cold period and have spring temperatures today. Pity you missed had to change the golf club for a shovel. That pump has seen many snow seasons I guess. I like the small TickMOrg swinging his club.

Well, you could play snow golf. Only thing when your ball lands in the snow it is either a hole-in-one or has just landed in a trap. Makes for a short game any way you look at it. You have at least captured the snow for us Tick.

A fun shot, Ron. Up here in the frozen north there's a wintertime tournament in which brightly-colored balls are used. Even so, golfers still have to spend more time looking for golfball-sized hole in the snow to figure out where their ball went to.

Oh! Boy, it looks like lots of snow. it will probably melt in a couple days and then you'll be out getting that hole in one. Right???

Pretty severe wintry conditions for golfing, Tick.
Any disadvantage has its own advantage: shoveling will keep you in the optimal physical condition until the green grass appears again, ☺ .
