ONCE UPON A TIME this lady could come and go as she saw fit, but now she is confined to a wheel chair in a Nursing Home. She can't communicate anymore and share what she is thinking. She just spends hours looking out the window in her room and we can't help but wonder where she goes on these trips. I hope she is driving around with her family and enjoying the freedom she once possessed.

This really reminds me of my maternal Grandmother and her remaining years...we can only wonder at what goes thru their minds but hopefully it is all happy memories re-lived...a heart-wrenching image, Tick.
