I found this scene the other day when a detour forced me to take another route. A good example of the benefits of the road less taken. I will have to return when the leaves start to turn to see if it is as beautiful as I imagine it will be. In the meantime, I will share this image.

It reminded me of the song Down In The Valley. There are many versions of the song, but I like the harmonization of The Brown. It was also in a scene of the movie Stir Crazy. It was an odd but great scene in a hilarious movie. Hence it will be my addition to SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE MOVIES.

From the looks of it there won't be anyone at home to give you a warm welcome - more likely a stampede and some of them running over your feet. Good find and capture Tick.

This picture is so very well done, Tick. The colors mix and contrast and the composition sings its own stories for us to hear.

Owd Fella Tick (OFT), to me this is a wonderful SNATM-theme (🎥) contribution.
It doesn't amaze me that you like the The Browns (Bonnie, Maxine, and Jim Ed) version of this old American folk song, because I like it too. I've a slightly preference however for the version of Glen Campbell and Roy Drusky, the latter version known as 'Birmingham Jail' as well.
I like the hilarious 1980 film 'Stir Crazy' (starring Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor) too.
S+F. Thanks, 👍 !

Well, I am certainly happy you were forced to take a detour, Tick, as it resulted in a wonderful rural image and a great portrayal of that old song, one I well remember and have tried to learn on the guitar:)...I think I may have seen the movie, Stir Crazy too, with Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder, a couple of very funny guys...I also think an autumn version of this setting would be very picturesque and hope you get the chance to revisit this location...thank you for this submission to SNATM.
