The Courthouse in Kirksville, Missouri reached a verdict this fall and it was found Guilty of looking really good. The jury wasn't even deadlocked. That's the good news. The bad news; it was sentenced to another winter and remains under town arrest. The movie starred Paul Newman and Sally Field. You can see the trailer here. It's my addition to this week's SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE MOVIES. Pass the popcorn.

Yes, Tick, the courthouse looks very well maintained - great capture and composition - I like how the trees balance out the scenery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It looks like a great place to visit. And, after that visit, you can visit the China Palace, down the road, for some BBQ Boneless Spare Ribs, Szechuan Chicken, and sweet ice tea.

I was a big fan of both stars of this movie and thought it was a pretty good film.

Sad that Kirksville does not approve of the courthouse looking good. But never mind, we all approve and especially the fall colors. Good one Tick.

*Pass the popcorn.*

Could you not make it a 'Bacon Butty'? (Sandwich)! 😉

Love the myriad of colours and tones surrounding that building! .. Each one seems to represent a different time of the year...

Owd Fella Tick (OFT), 'no thanks' for the popcorn, 😜 !
Thanks anyhow for this SNATM-theme (🎥) contribution, in particular the by you provided link for the trailer, because this film is unknown to me.
I don't know if in The USA there is the possibility to appeal. If this is so, I hope that the Kirksville Courthouse will not use it, 😁 !
Good work again, 👍 !
