This is my contribution to SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE MOVIES.
It is one of my favorite novels and movies. I guess it was a TV Miniseries, but it's still a movie in my book. You can read about the book here and the movie here.
I guess Gus was my favorite character in the movie and I think it was due to the portrayal by Robert Duval. If you haven't read the book or watched the movie, you owe it to yourself to take a look.

Yes, I've watched that movie and really enjoyed Gus, but it was a fine cast to choose from. It kept you going all the way through it. Good dove capture, Tick. Were they watching you play golf?

Owd Fella Tick (OFT), this Western adventure television miniseries is unknown to me. Probably it wasn't broadcast on our TV-channels.
