Beautiful scenic, such an amazing look at nature. I adore the filler that fills the rest of the screen with the gradient. It all works very well. Thanks for sharing Dean:-)
pretty cool. no the lightning part. wow. i once saw something similar to this. it looked alot higher up and it was stretching from the north to the east. it looked like the edge of some huge storm on jupiter. i wish i had my camera then.

If my comment on your work ever seems to criticise, it does not. It is always so that we may learn together.
I've got a snapshot of one of these rolling across the sky like a rope. Oddest feeling I've ever got from the sky, it just screams power. Beautiful panorama of both the 'thing' and the view beneath. I llove the changes in the composition from the sea over to the...is that bay or brackish water pond? The gradient's perfect.
I remember that storm.. i got caught in it.. it was pretty bad... =/ Great shot Dean, great colours and lighting.. it's a nice spot there.. very well taken..
wow, that is crazy. absolutely amazing capture...but to me the blue background is distracting..maybe something darker would be better. great work though! ~abby
i apologize for my delay in replying to all of your wonderful comments...i am busy working a couple of jobs and enjoying the last summer with my friends
I'm glad to see this one got at least near what it deserved in the c-index (although 85 to 90 would be more accurate). I love weather photos and this one is definitely one for my desktop. You won't mind if I change the wide blue borders to black will you though, to allow those nasty clouds a little more punch? Thanks for submitting this one for the rest of us.
So if I vote on your image you're likely to receive a 10/10. Why? Because every capture of life around us or artificial generation of color and lines is unique and special.______________ READ MY CAEDES HEATED POST HERE WITH A PRAETOR
