This will be last shot of Survival of the Fittest. As several have asked not to see the outcome. This shot shows the runt going over the edge. Mom really screams and shows her displeasure with her body language. Thanks In Advance To All Who View , Comment, and Vote. Have A Great Day ! E J

Another good capture even though its sad. Nature at work in all its good and bad moments. Thank you E.J. for not showing the final shot. I do appreciate it. I'm not a whimp but :( it's sad enough.

Well EJ, this soap-series has no happy end, but I like the way you captured it :) Great work my friend!

I wonder why the mother didn't try to protect the runt when the others were pecking away at it. I mean, if she was screaming as it went over the side???? I guess I'm asking you to explain her thought process to me...LOL...if you could do that, you'd be in another line of work !!! Nice job, E J. Nature is what she is and nothing more or less.

Wow, another great capture EJ. This is life in death as it occurs in nature. This was an excellent series and has really told a story as well. Great work!!

I guess this is the easy way out for her, but you can't help but see the distress in her body language - it is a very sad fact of life I expect! :(

I'm sure the end result might be a great shot too but I appreciate that you're going to spare us. I just don't think I could take it. Not right now.

Momma turning her back on those little whiny brats. A fine shot...must have taken it just before she jumped.

This makes me sad. I hoped it would have a happy ending, but your shots have been wonderful.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
